Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit neant.co (the "Site"). This policy covers the Site only. Our mobile applications are governed by separate privacy policies available on their respective app store listings.


   WHO WE ARE - THE DATA CONTROLLER


Neant Yazılım Eğitim ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ticaret Limited Şirketi 

For the purposes of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we act as the data controller (veri sorumlusu). For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), we act as the controller.


   WHAT WE COLLECT?


We keep data collection to a minimum. We collect only the following:

When you use a contact form or sign up for email updates:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Any content you choose to include in your message


   INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTIOMATICALLY (Analytics)


We use analytics tools to understand how the Site is used. These collect:

  • IP address (truncated/anonymized where supported)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time on page, and referring website
  • Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP)

We do not collect: payment details, government identifiers, precise GPS location, or any special category data (health, biometric, religious, political, etc.).


   COOKIES


The Site uses cookies and similar technologies.     

- Strictly necessary Core site functionality, security. Can not be opted out  because they are required for the site to work .

- Analytics: Aggregate traffic measurement and performance. They can be opted out. They are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser or adjusting your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely, though this may affect site functionality.


   WHY WE USE YOUR DATA - LEGAL BASIS


To respond to your enquiry. When you contact us, we use your name, email address, and message to reply to you. Under the GDPR this relies on Article 6(1)(b) where a reply is necessary to take steps at your request, or otherwise on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us. Under the KVKK this relies on Article 5/2(f), our legitimate interest.

To understand how the Site is used. We use analytics data to see which pages are visited and how the Site performs, so we can improve it. Under the GDPR this relies on Article 6(1)(a), your consent, given through our cookie banner. Under the KVKK this relies on Article 5/1, your explicit consent.

To keep the Site secure. We process technical data such as IP addresses to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks against the Site. Under the GDPR this relies on Article 6(1)(f), and under the KVKK on Article 5/2(f) in both cases our legitimate interest in protecting the Site and its visitors.

To comply with legal obligations. Where Turkish or other applicable law requires us to retain or disclose data, we do so on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR and Article 5/2(a) of the KVKK.


We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.


   WHO WE SHARE IT WITH?


We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed:

  • [Website host / GoDaddy] — hosting and site infrastructure
  • [Analytics provider — e.g. Google Analytics] — traffic analytics
  • [Email provider, if any] — sending email updates

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or a valid request from a competent public authority.


   INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS


Our service providers may store or process data outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

  • Under GDPR: such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
  • Under KVKK (Art. 9): transfers are made based on your explicit consent or another lawful transfer mechanism permitted under Turkish law.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT?


-Contact form messages -  1 year from last correspondence   

-Analytics data -  1 year then deleted 

Where a longer period is required by Turkish law (for example, statutory record-keeping obligations), we retain data only for that required period.


YOUR RIGHTS:


1) TÜRKİYE (KVKK Art.11)


You have the right to learn whether your data is processed; request information about processing; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom data is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request erasure or destruction; request that corrections and erasures be notified to third parties; object to results produced solely by automated analysis; and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.


2) EU/UK


You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).


3) US


You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.


How to exercise your rights?


Reach us from the contact form in the main page. We respond within 30 days (KVKK), one month (GDPR), or 45 days (CCPA), as applicable. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

SECURITY


We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting data collection to what is necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


CHILDREN


The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.


3RD PARTY LINKS


The Site may link to third-party websites and app store listings. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY


We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
